Sylvania Metals is looking for a Boilermaker to support the Company Eastern Operations with regards to maintenance, improving plant availability and controlling costs.
Major tasks of the job:
•The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance and repairing of all process equipment.
•Planning and scheduling preventative- and planned maintenance.
•Ensure adherence to the company`s Health and Safety Standards.
•Capture breakdown data and update equipment history records.
Knowledge/Education requirements:
•Grade 12
•Minimum N2 certificate.
•Certified trade test certificate
•Code welding will be an added advantage.
Experience and requirements:
•At least 3 to 5 years related industry experience.
•Code 8 drivers license and own transport. Other requirements: •Prepared to be on standby. •Its a condition of the host mine that all new engagements should be fully vaccinated and in possession of a vaccination certificate.
