Hotel in Gardens, Cape Town is currently looking for an Assistant General Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the General Manager in the overall responsibility for the effective management on all levels
Upholding service standards and meet expectations on guest feedback
Assist in the overall responsibility for creating an environment of learning and development
Host all guests
Assist in achieving year on year revenue growth.
Work with our team to deliver personal and business growth.
Manage all expenses to ensure we achieve our budgeted profits.
Overseeing both Rooms and F&B departments (requires a person who understands both areas of the business)
Capable of making a difference and take this property and your own career to the next level.
REQUIREMENTS
Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma qualification
Must have at least 5 years hospitality experience
Minimum 2-years’ experience in a similar position
Must be standards orientated
Good knowledge of Food and Beverage will be an advantage
High level of customer service, leadership skills, high level of numeracy skills, disciplined, organized, attention to detail, deadline driven, and cost control skills essential.
Excellent Communication Skills
High degree of self-motivation and ambition
Highly Ethical and Customer Focused
Can do personality.
Works well in a team
Own transport will be an advantage
