Duration: 12 months internship

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform lab tests
Chemical preparation and standardisation
Scale verification and daily calibration of equipment
Record, report and analyse results
Product inspection
Waste disposal according to procedure
Monitor laboratory stock level
House keeping
Attend training and meetings as required
Adhere to quality, safety, health rules and regulations
Adhere to any reasonable instruction by management
REQUIREMENTS
Matric/ Grade 12
ND/Degree in Analytical Chemistry qualification
Knowledge of lab practices and procedures
Ms Office
KEY COMPETENCIES
Numeracy skills
Problem solving skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
