We are currently working with a dynamic, reputable international consultancy who is looking for Head: Data Science to head up their team.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
• At least 8-10 years’ experience, 5+ in data science
• Statistics, maths, economics, or other related field
• Preferably an actuary or has knowledge of actuarial principles
Required Experience:
• Advanced Python and R programming, advanced Python scientific computing knowledge and strong SQL skills
• Knowledge of other programming languages or libraries (such as Spark, orchestration frameworks, etc.) is beneficial but not required
• Experience with statistical analysis and reporting of results
• Cloud Data Engineering & Analytics (Azure, AWS, GCP) would be advantageous.
• Data visualization tool experience such as with Tableau or similar would be advantageous
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
