A manufacturing company requires an experienced and hands on person to perform the full function of a Warehouse Supervisor and work closely with the Financial Manager
Qualifications:
• Grade 12 / equivalent
• Completed diploma in Logistics / Warehousing will be an added advantage
Experience and Requirements:
• 5-8 years’ experience in a raw material and finished product warehouse is essential
• Strong Leadership skills and a team player
• Good moral and written communication skills
• The ability to be proactive and take initiative
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Syspro
• Have a driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• A stable work record and contactable references
• Of sober habits
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Be physically fit and able to pick up and move stock
Duties and responsibilities:
• Managing Warehouse staff and relating issues
• Support sales department
• Manage and control stock
• Assist with goods receiving and Dispatch
• Assure that each days’ stock received has been checked and processed on Syspro
• Handling all stock related queries
• House keeping
• Ensure that cycle counts are performed on a regular basis
• Handling stock take
• Ensure that the stock in the Warehouse is binned and labelled correctly
• Checking of stock delivered or collected by customers
• Responsible for driver of the company and delivery schedules
• Marking of stock with sales ordered when delivered
• Assisting procurement in stock checks
