Applications from suitably qualified candidates are invited to fill the Warehouse Picker position, within the Central Warehouse in Bentley Park near Carletonville, Gauteng.
The selected candidate will report to Supervisor Stores.
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
Grade 12 or equivalent academic degree
Valid forklift license (advantageous)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, essentially Excel [Basic]
Verbal and written communication skills in English
Exceptional cleaning skills
2 years of physical experience in a warehouse environment in material management related to physical inventory of incoming / outgoing materials, warehousing, stacking and sorting practices
Packaging export and cycle counting expertise
The successful candidate will be responsible, but not limited to:
Provide quality customer service to all stakeholders
Receipt of goods, quality and quantity controls.
Pack, stack, pack, pick up and export packaging
Proactively engage with internal customers to resolve inventory inquiries
Ensure effective inventory control
Actively participate in cycle counts
Vehicle loading / unloading
Comply with SHEQ policies and procedures
Maintain high security standards.
