People & Team Leadership
• Day to day People & Team Management of the Supply Chain Team to ensure that work is allocated appropriately and that workloads are manageable.
• Establishing and fostering good working relationships between Sales, Finance, and the Supply Chain Team with a view to improving collaboration, communication, and workflow efficiency.
Demand Planning & Replenishment
• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Demand Planning tools, templates, processes, and procedures.
• Demand Planning for all Contracted Uniform and/or Promo Programs and recurrent Raw Materials for Alligator Factory.
Costing
• Compile accurate Costings for all CMT projects to be approved by the Account Manager, including Raw Materials, Consumable, CMT Costs, 3rd Party / In House Branding Costs etc.
CMT Production
• Subject matter expert to the broader organization in the development of plans for apparel and promotional programmes.
• Applying materials knowledge, trade regulations, testing protocol, product integrity, production cycle timeline, fabric and garment construction and costing to ensure that the product is always the best in the market in terms of durability, attractiveness, and affordability.
Raw Materials Buying
• Oversee Raw Materials Buying to ensure that Raw Materials are available on time for both Factory and CMT Production.
• Ensure that the raw materials received by and used by the Factory and CMT for production is up to the set industry standards.
Procurement Local, Imports & Cross Trades
• Oversee Local, Imports and Cross Trades Procurement to ensure that Procurement Controllers have the necessary resources to perform their roles optimally.
• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Local, Imports and Cross Trades tools, templates, processes, and procedures.
Systems & Reporting
• Ensure that all ERP transactions are processed accurately and timeously by the Supply Chain Team.
• Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data and translating them into Reports that support data driven decision making.
Job Requirements:
• Matric.
• Demand Planning, Operations / Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or relevant tertiary qualification(s).
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role or environment with a strong focus on Demand Planning.
• Experience in Costing will be advantageous.
• Computer literacy – MS Excel (Advanced), MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, Acumatica (ERP Systems).
• Numeric & financial acumen – ability to collect, analyze and interpret data.
• People & team leadership skill.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate and sustain good networking relationships with a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure and available to work overtime when operationally required.
• Must be proactive, forward thinking.
• Ability to effectively interact with internal and external partners at a high level of integrity.
• Ability to delegate tasks and redistribute workloads for efficiency.
• Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions.
• Self-lead and able to problem solve within constraints.
