Location: Carletonville (Gauteng)
Salary: R21 000 per month CTC commensurate with experience and qualification

REQUIREMENTS
• NQF Level 5 – related field
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in social services
• Computer literate – MS Office
• Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle essential – will be required to travel (all business expenses will be covered)
• Be prepared do work Saturdays and extra hours
• Good management skills such as planning, organizing, controlling and co-coordinating
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to supervise and motivate employees
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Key Performance Areas:
• Fleet management:
– Manage vehicle fleet
– Manage that vehicles border permits and roadworthy permits are renewed and valid
– Ensure that all vehicles are serviced to manufactures recommendations
– All vehicle accidents managed according to procedures
• Coordinate / assist and organize transport:
– Site visits
– Manage that vehicle logbooks are reconciled and audited weekly
– Ensure all Drivers passports/vehicle/PDP licenses and first aid certificates are in order
– Vehicle inspections to be done weekly
• Reporting:
– Compile monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders
– Collate, interrogate and submit regional statistics
– Organise and distribute regional monthly office supplies 
• HBC management:
– Manage visits
– Process new cases onto system
– Ensure patients are visited as per schedule and no visits are missed
– Manage visits by Nurse and ensure reports are audited and loaded onto system
– Manage home adaptation cases and reports
– Ensure that correct procedure is followed and that contractors are paid as per mine guidance
– Manage TB patients and ensure that visits are done timeously and ensure that reports are loaded
• Social services:
– Ensure that cases are audited weekly
– Manage new cases loaded, and ensure that cases are collated and submitted within deadline supplied by mine
– Monitor and intervene on cases not progressing
– Ensure that quality checks on cases are done before originals are sent to Head office
– Ensure that application is sent to the mine and feedback is received timeously
– Receive payment report and verify if applicant had been, or can be paid
– Manage administration in respect of processing documents
• Educational funds:
– Manage funding schemes
– Ensure that school fees are paid timeously and by cut off set by Department of Education and school
– Ensure that only material and fees covered by fund is paid
• Asset management:
– Control and maintain assets
– Ensure that assets security requirements met
• Quality assurance:
– Implement recommendations from internal audits
– Follow up on all audits/findings
– Follow up on outcomes following meetings and visits
• People Management:
– Manage resource allocation to ensure effective staffing levels and utilization according to organizational needs
– Manages subordinates’ key performance areas by setting and monitoring adherence to performance targets
– Take appropriate ER action to correct non-performance to ensure the attainment of set objectives
– Assist in preparing career development plans, appraises progress, and provide training and coaching to develop subordinates to their full potential
– Interrogate, verify and submit drivers claims processed on ESS system
– Ensure that all newly appointed staff / contractors’ documentations are filed and originals sent to Head Office
• Financial:
– Recommend cost saving initiatives
– Provide input for annual budget related to department
– Verify that all transport invoices is 100% accurate and ensure invoicing
– Manage and control transport expenditure and ensure it is below budget
– Meet or exceed all transport income
