We have an open vacancy at the Midland Group for a Security and Loss Control Manager at Wolwehoek, Sasolburg.
OBLIGATIONS / TASKS:
Managing the security officers and their tasks performed when delivering a service to the company.
Unexpected searches of employees and vehicles of employees and the company.
Inspections on all assets of the company.
Internal investigations (misconduct, vehicle accidents, criminal activities, shortages on trucks, etc).
External investigations (assisting the SA Police Service).
Liaise with customers, farmers, livestock owners, insurance brokers and other.
Monitor the company vehicles on the tracking system.
Monitor diesel and petrol consumed by vehicles / trucks of the company.
Handle disciplinary hearings as the prosecutor / complainant.
Visits to company farms, abattoirs, feedlots and other premises.
Counting (audit) of livestock on farms and feedlots.
Visits to crime scenes and other – company related.
Patrol and observation duties (working hours and after hours).
Security and Loss Control office administration duties.
Renewal of liquor licenses, other permits, calibration certificates, etc. of the company.
Compiling of investigation reports to management.
Attending of internal and external meetings / workshops, etc.
Computer skills – meat matrix, tracking, google maps, outlook, excel, etc.
Any other duties requested by management.
AVAILABLE AIDS:
Company vehicle, diesel or petrol card, cell phone, office computer and other aids to do investigations with.

1 August 2022.
