The South African Veterinary Foundation (SAVF) invites suitable applicants for the 2021 scholarship program.

The South African Veterinary Foundation began supporting fourth and fifth year veterinary students financially since 1999. Pet Memorial Fund has funded the scholarships since 2002 with a charitable contribution each year from Lakato (Pty) Ltd.
SAVF scholarships only cover a small amount of the educational costs each year of veterinary science studies. There are 2 scholarships available annually with an amount of R10,000 each. Two of the scholarships are associated with Lakato Veterinary Wholesalers.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven financial need
BVSc IV and BVSc V Students Who Need Financial Assistance
Minimum 60% exam grade point average
Participation in student activities such as sports, cultural activities, or any other aspect of student life.

Include and upload the following documents:
Proof of current student debt in PDF format
Certified copy of the 2016 academic record in PDF format
A short Curriculum Vitae uploaded to the SAVF web form
