QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role
• Good communication and organization skills
• Valid driver’s licence essential
• Competent in computing
• Ability to solve problems using problem solving tools.
• Good knowledge of TPM: total preventive maintenance
• Very advantageous robotic experience
• Possess solid mechanical / electrical knowledge
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays
• Good knowledge of quality systems
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Ensure the most efficient and economical use of all equipment and personnel
• Ensure sufficient available personnel to meet relevant production targets
• Monitor personnel and equipment to ensure maximum quantity and production
• Take steps to rectify any quality deviations without delay and perform random checks throughout the shift
• Technical instruction and training of production personnel on production machinery and all related equipment and procedures.
• Make sure all safety regulations are followed
• Instruct production personnel how to recognize and analyze failures and deviations.
• Train on special instructions on certain processes or procedures
• Attend to all the needs of the staff under your control
