Location:  (Defence Industry) – Airport City – Cape Town
Salary: R30 000 – R45 000 depending on experience and qualifications 

Our client, who specializes in the Defence Industry, are currently looking for a Recruitment Manager who can start as soon as possible, or immediately at their offices in Airport City.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification, e.g. Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration Degree or relevant field
Management Qualifications Advantageous 
5 – 10 years Technical/Mechanical/Engineering Recruitment experience (Non-Negotiable)
Own reliable transport
Well presented
Strong communication skills

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage and oversee the regional resourcing and development organizational structure, staffed with appropriately qualified and experienced staff to execute the strategy;
Ensure the ongoing improvement of all assignee recruitment and development practices and processes, with a strong emphasis on digitization and automation;
Drive processes that enable selection of the right candidate, not just the first candidate
Monitor and drive projects relating to the recruitment and selection of assignees
Embrace Technology, current or to be and ensure successful implementation and integration
Complete reports on standardized templates and submit to Operations Executive
Ensure the required candidate documentation management processes and systems are in place in the branch to ensure compliance
Ensure resource consultants conduct all necessary interviews, references, and verifications before assignees are placed
Develop great relationship with Operations and liaise with ops before, during and after recruitment and provide weekly feedback
Monitor all advertising and verification expenditure and re-engineer processes where applicable to reduce all recruitment related expenditure
Drive transformation in the branch ensuring recruitment of high calibre people
Daily management and coaching of direct reports
Manage job postings on social media using niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
Help build a talent pipeline to create applicant pools and talent pipelines
Build employer brand to attract talent
Monitor and interpret Acquisition Data to identify trends and suggest and implement actions where required
Manage and assist in end-to-end talent acquisition process to ensure that the best talents get the job, including drafting of job ads, candidate research, screening, interviews and reference checks
Work with Internal Recruiters to create and structure job descriptions for new and existing positions
Overall management of the recruitment team
