PACKING MATERIAL MANAGER
FRUIT INDUSTRY

Job purpose: Packing material stock control, maintaining standards and requirements in packhouse as floor manager and responsible for all final product inspections, allocations and consignments.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS
• Perform supervisory responsibilities complying with organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Plan, assign and direct work to all team members.
• Ensure to acquire proper product flow from receipt, storage to production.
• Manage, monitor, consolidate and retrieve storage to allow maximum utilization of space.
• Daily reporting of current final product
• Regular stock counts and sufficient packing material at all times
• Control and ensure a good process on the rejected product
• Pallet stock movement, control & inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Grade 12 certificate
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Excel (MS Office) will be a prerequisite
