The company has state-of-the-art, fully automated seeding and harvesting equipment and therefore the need for a John Deere certified mechanic.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualified mechanic
Certified John Deere Mechanic with demonstrable hands-on experience with JD tractors, combines and implements
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a similar position
Practical knowledge of combines, seeders, agricultural equipment, sprayers, spreaders and truck.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fix combines, seeders, tractors, sprayers, spreaders
Assess the John Deere plant for parts and develop parts lists.
Repair and repair Freightliners and trailers.
Evaluate spare parts needed for freightliners and trailers and develop spare parts lists.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical evaluation of the entire John Deere plant
Repair and repair John Deere combines, seeders, sprayers, spreaders and tractors
Directly involved in the maintenance of the entire John Deere plant
Technical assistance to the Agric workshop for an agricultural plant
Repair and fix freightliners and trailers
Management
Responsible for the time sheets of their teams
Check the entire John Deere plant to determine the parts needed.
Monthly reports on John Deere / freightliners plant
general
Help with fires and necessary safety devices
The nature of this position means that it is available when the John Deere plant is in operation, harvest season, planting, spraying and spreading seasons.

Potential to be a shop manager on time
