REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical Qualification
LMI Certificate
Valid Driver’s License & Own Vehicle
All documents MUST be sent with CV.
5 Years minimum working experience as a Lifting Machinery Inspector
Experience:
Service/Maintenance of lifting machines and lifting equipment.
Preform & complete services and maintenance on various overhead cranes, steel wire rope hoist.
Completing service report sheet and updating log book.
All services performed on lifting machines and equipment are done according to provided SOP’S to ensure that all units conforms to the provided regulations and standards
Load testing
Preforming and completing load testing on various lifting machines and lifting equipment, recording all relevant information to complete load testing record sheets and load testing certificates.
Adjustment and calibration performed on load limiting devices, load cell devices and clutches when performing the load test in the cranes and hoist.
All load tests performed are done according to the provided SOP’s to ensure the machine tested conforms to the provided regulations and standards
Complete service provided from submitting all legal and supporting documents, supervising on installing of the units, commissioning, load testing and certification and finally completing combining all the recorded information to provide to the client when performing hand over procedure.
Recording all relevant information for certificates and failure to be issued.
Update registers and logbooks (according to client standards)
Inspections carried out on the relevant lifting equipment and lifting tackle is done according to the provided SOP’S and only returned for service with full conformance to the regulations and standard provided.
Technical Support
Provide full support on all mechanical queries and legal requirement.
Administration of legal and supporting documents
Draft all legal work-related supporting documents on site to meet the clients’ requirements.
Documents: standard operating procedures, risk assessments, method statement, scope of work, planned task observations, task specific reports and general reports.
Repairs on lifting machine and equipment
Performing the relevant mechanical repairs on various types of overhead cranes, wire rope hoist, chain hoist and lifting equipment.
All work is done and completed according to the SOP’S and the lifting machine is functional within its original manufactured specification and conforms to provided regulation and standards.
Stripping for quotation, repairing the electric hoist, before returning to service Installation of all lifting equipment
Fault finding and resolving on a timely manner.
Assisting in workshop if and when needed and able.
No Criminal Record.
