To support the growth of this new company, we seek a
Finance Intern based in Johannesburg.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL
Accurately process, reconcile, and prepare creditor invoices for payment.
Establish a good relationship with the vendor regarding processing and payment items.
To ensure that cash book payments are paid and processed in a timely and accurate manner.
To ensure accurate petty cash disbursements, reconciliation and replenishment are done in a timely manner.
Prepare payment files and provide remittance advice to all creditors.
Handle all inquiries from providers.
Prepare an updated list of accumulations.
Ensure all archiving of supporting documentation is done promptly, accurately, and securely in accordance with group and local retention policy requirements.
Assist and support external and internal audits.
All ad hoc inquiries and requests must be completed within the agreed time frames.
GROWTH
Personal development in high-level overview of what the company is selling and business concepts.
Make sure all administration such as annual leave, sick leave, overtime, and expense claims are completed correctly according to the Policies.
Complete all staff surveys, performance reports, and plans as needed.
Make sure that company values ​​are embedded in all actions and deliveries.
Make sure all assignments are completed and turned in within the required time frames.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bcom Degree in Financial Accounting or similar
Computer literate
Numerical skills
Oral and written comunications habilities.
