Port Elizabeth TVET College invites young people to apply for the learning and skills programs listed below.
Young people must be currently unemployed and not study for another degree, they must be between 18 and 35 years old.
REQUIREMENTS
ICB BOOKKEEPING NQF L3 – L6 Full Qualification
Grade 10 with math
Grade 12 with illuminated math and accounting will be an added bonus
NEW ENTERPRISE CREATION NQF L2 Learning
Grade 10 – 12
You must have basic knowledge of numeracy and communication.
You must have created your own business
Must be business oriented
EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT NQF L4 Learning
Grade 10 – 12
You must have basic knowledge of numeracy and communication.
You must already be practicing at an ECD registered center without a formal qualification
EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT NQF L5 Learning
Must have completed ECD L4
Must already be practicing at a registered ECD / preschool / early foundation center
END USER CALCULATION NQF L3 Learning
Grade 10 – 12
Must be proficient in skills acquired in continuing education and training band up to NQF L2
CRAFT ENTERPRISE NQF L4 (Jewelry and Ceramics) Apprenticeship
Grade 12
You must have basic knowledge of numeracy and communication.
You must have a passion for creating arts and crafts.
PROFESSIONAL KITCHEN NQF L4 Apprenticeship
Grade 11-12
Must be creative, love cooking
NQF HAIRDRESSING Level L2- L4 Apprenticeship
Grade 12
You must already be working in a registered salon
CLOTHING PRODUCTION
Skills program (6 months)
Grade 10-12
Must be creative
FURNITURE MANUFACTURING: Wood
Skills program (6 months)
Grade 10-12
Engineering or related activities in NQF L1 will be an added bonus.
AGRICULTURE: Plant production
Skills program (3 months)
Grade 10-12
Agricultural background will be an added bonus
