Job description
We have an opportunity available for someone to join our dynamic team based in Big Bay Bloubergstrand Cape Town. Please Note, this position is only open to candidates currently based in the Cape Town area.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Experience in Export and Logistics within Africa will be an advantage
Responsibilities
•Initial preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a wide range of commodities
•Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements
•Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions
•Compilation of Quotations as per RFQs
•Liaise with Clients as to status of orders and deliveries
Qualifications
•Experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent Excel Skills this will be tested
•Experience in Export procedures an advantage
•Logistical experience an advantage
