The ITEC Receptionist / General Administrator will perform all general reception duties that include the provision of administrative support to the ICT and Projects departments. The Receptionist/ General Administrator will be well informed / knowledgeable about the general activities of the Organisation in order to inform external clients and promote the services and programmes of the
Organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Front of house duties
To provide
efficient and friendly telephone service to ITEC’s external and internal customers
To provide high
quality secretarial / administrative support to ITEC Staff / Projects
Receiving and Receipting of payments made for ITEC services and programmes
Recording of outgoing posts, collection and handling of documents, materials and other
deliveries
Attend staff meetings and staff development opportunities when required or when opportunities are presented including external workshops
Miscellaneous duties as required Qualifications and Skills / Work Experience

REQUIREMENTS
Grade12(Matric) with at least 2 years of experience as a Receptionist
Excellent computer literacy skills; particularly MS Word, Ms Excel and knowledge of a database programme
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communications skills
Strong administrative skills and competency in quality management
Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; ability to work independently and complete assignment within parameters and standard accepted practices; strong
time-management skills
To be dressed neatly and attractively at all times.
A dynamic individual is sought.
