LOST OR DAMAGED CERTIFICATE
Request replacement of your enrollment certificate (Higher National Certificate) at the Department of Basic Education or the provincial education department if you have lost or damaged your original certificate. You can order and pay for the reissue online.
You can request the declaration of results while you wait for the release of your certificate. If the certificate is damaged, you must return the damaged certificate to the Basic Education department.
Please note: the request for your lost or damaged registration certificate may differ from province to province.
STATUS CHANGE
If you wrote matric in more than one exam session and want to combine your credits to qualify for a National Certificate, you must request the replacement certificate: change of status. The department does not automatically combine your credits, unless you have taken a supplemental exam. You can also apply online.
You can request the confirmation statement of the results while waiting for the Senior National Certificate.
