The Head chef would be responsible for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. He/she would be responsible for exhibiting culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions.
Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance in all areas of responsibility. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Hospitality management / Professional cookery qualification
- At least 4 years’ experience as a Head Chef role
- Hospitality background would be essential in this role.
- Guest relations capability would be a plus
- Computer savvy (Microsoft office package & Micros system
