Golden Arrow offers a training opportunity for individuals interested in acquiring knowledge, skills and experience in the transportation industry and bus operation.
While the immediate result of the program is to train highly skilled bus drivers, the in-depth nature of the program will also prepare students for other career opportunities in the transportation industry.
THE TRAINING INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING
Variety of work preparation and personal development courses
Rotating work experience in various departments including traffic, engineering, human resources, legal, public relations, and health and safety.
Obtain a Code C (Heavy Vehicle) Driver’s License
In-depth driving training from a professional driving instructor.
Obtain a national certificate in professional driving
DURATION
This training program will last approximately 36 months.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Matric, with minimum 60% average
Applicants between the ages of 19 and 20
Good knowledge of Cape Town and its surroundings.
Valid South African driver’s license with code 8 (advantageous)
