DESCRIPTION
There is an opportunity available within our operations for an experienced general worker that will be based on our contract. Please see the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for more details on the available position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Medically fit
Trustworthy
Work safely, i.e. make sure all safety requirements are met as well
Ready to work shifts, weekends and holidays
Clear criminal record
You must have your own reliable transportation to and from work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from the supervisor.
Unloading of fresh and frozen chicken products
Unloading of baskets and pallets respecting the stacking requirements
Operation of a lifting platform and pallet truck
General tasks, i.e. cabin cleaning, electrical cable management
Follow customer standards operating procedures
Maintain the cold chain and product integrity during unloading.
Maintain the proper image of the company in transit and at the customer’s premises, that is, proper equipment maintenance and clothing.
Guide drivers when backing up
