RESPONSIBILITIES
Design strategy and set goals for sales growth, wholesale and retail operations
Control budgets and optimize expenses
Overall management of employees
Ensure implementation of company growth strategy
Oversee day-to-day operations
Oversee and manage all divisions of the warehouse and shops
Design strategy and set goals for growth
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
Ensure employees work productively
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
Prepare regular reports for upper management
Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
Oversee financial aspects of warehouse and shops within region
REQUIREMENTS
Tertiary qualification and experience will be to the applicant’s advantage
Proven experience as a General Manager and FMCG sector experience (5 years Min)
Experience in planning and budgeting
Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
Strong analytical ability
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Problem-solving aptitude
