Step 1. Go to www.coursera.com and create an account (or Sign Up) on the website. This will allow you to log-in, finish your courses, take tests, quizzes etc. Creating an account is really just ‘registration’
Step 2. Go to www.coursera.com again to begin enrolling for the courses now.
Step 3. At the top of www.coursera.com homepage, search for whatever course field/area you want where it says, “What do you want to learn?” with a search icon next to it.
In searching for courses, just type key words like “banking”, “electrical engineering”, “marketing”, “small business”, “motivation” etc and the website will automatically bring up all the courses for you.
Step 4. Choose whatever course you like from the results of your search by clicking on it.
When you click on the course you like you’ll get all the information like Syllabus, Lecturer information, how long it takes, language etc
Step 5. TO ENROL for the course DO NOT CLICK ON “ENROLL FOR FREE”. Make sure not to click on “Enroll for Free” but rather click on “Financial Aid Available”
Step 6. Click on “financial aid available” and then next click on “Continue to Application” You will then see a page pop up written “Financial Aid” in BIG LETTERS.
Step 7. Check the 2 boxes provided to move on, type “I agree to the terms above” and then click “Continue.” TYPE THE SENTENCE EXACTLY as directed – no mistakes.
Step 8. Then fill in the application fields that come after that asking information about you etc. You’ll then be done applying for financial aid for that course & you can wait for a day to 15 days for approval.
