Salary: R10 000
Starting date: 01 July 2021
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
Verifying those transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.
Perform partial checks of the posting process.
Manage 5 sets of books from start to trial balance.
Enter data, maintain records, and create reports to the Head Office monthly.
Performing admin duties
Daily checking on 5 restaurant secretary’s work (Bank recons, credit card recons, cash, etc.)
Supplier payments for stores weekly
Assisting in supplier and other queries.
PAYE, UIF & SDL calculations
UFiling
VAT calculations
Updating fixed asset register for the entities
REQUIREMENTS
Proven relevant experience. (3 – 5 years)
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
This person must have a thorough knowledge of Excel as there are various extensive monthly spreadsheet’s that are done on Excel.
Thorough working knowledge of Pastel Partner
Good problem-solving skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
Must be able to work under pressure (deadlines)
Time management skills
Willing to work public holidays and weekends if so required.
Driver’s Licence and Own transport (Advantageous)
