Minimum of 3-5 years’ Hospitality experience in a similar position (5-Star luxury property/establishment)
Computer literate (MS Office)
Excellent command of the English Language (verbal & written)
Sound knowledge of Housekeeping, Laundry and Public Area Service procedures.
Sound knowledge of stock procedures and control.
Valid driver’s licence (no endorsements)
Solid work history
Professional and well groomed
Complete management of the Housekeeping function
Good planning and organizational skills
Self-motivated, organized and disciplined work ethics
Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared, maintain cleanliness of all vacant rooms on a daily basis to the property and company standard.
Ensure turn down service is performed to the property and company standards.
Safekeeping and monitoring of laundry and housekeeping equipment
Ensure all information available on guests are collected and communicated prior to arrival.
To set annual operating targets, which will form part of the property’s annual business plan.
To manage and monitor all costs and implement measures to control them.
Maintain discipline in the department according to company standards, address deviations according to disciplinary company standards.
To monitor and train, review and implement performance standards to establish and maintain a streamlined and efficient operations.
To ensure that departmental operations and training manuals are prepared and updated.
