JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier with excellent customer service skills.
Cashier responsibilities include: greeting customers as they enter the store, provide helpful information to any query from the customer, accept & maintain all payment measures, ensuring all prices & quantities are accurately scanned on register and issue a receipt to all customers while issuing the correct change, have the ability to work at a fast pace without error, the ability to provide sufficient product knowledge as well as maintaining an awareness of any promotions & adverts, maintain attention to detail as well as having a courteous approach to resolving complaints.
REQUIREMENTS
• Matric or higher
• One year customer service agent/cashier experience
• Ability to handle transactions accurately & responsibly
• Strong customer service skills
• Basic maths & computer skills
• People skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Decision-making skills
