The Legal Aid Clinic of the University of Fort Hare requires the services of 2 Candidate Attorneys to resume during on the 1st March 2022 or so soon thereafter. The Candidate will be exposed to Criminal and Civil litigation. The Legal Aid Clinic provides free legal services to vulnerable communities in Alice and East London.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY:
Candidates must have completed their LLB Degree and Practical Legal Training (PLT) at the School of Legal Practice in order to be considered for a position the Legal Aid Clinic. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, able to work independently, with good oral and written communication skills in English, Proficiency in MS Office and passion for Social Justice.
APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT:
- A motivational letter of no longer than a page stating:
• Why the Candidate wish to work at Legal Aid Clinic.
• Why the Candidate should be selected.
• What the Candidate wish to accomplish within that period. - At least 2 contactable references.
- An up to date CV with full academic record and supporting documents.
