A leading group of grocery retailers is looking to fill the position of Butchery Manager for their store.

Department inventory management

Pricing integrity
Commercialization
Labor / Staffing
Plan, order, prepare cut lists and process meat according to work plan and standards to maximize sales and gross profit.
Ensure all new department associates receive proper training and supervision and will ensure the correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
It can include the preparation of meat products that involve the use of shredders, electric jacks, scales, wrappers, saws, and knives.
EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Grade 12
Butcher and Blockman experience
3 years of prior work experience as a butcher manager / similar position.

Excellent communication and organization skills
Proactive
Strong team player
Analytical and able to identify irregularities
Adaptable and ready to face new challenges
You need to have a clear criminal record
