Assmang Khumani Mine invites qualified students to apply for the Scholarship Program for the academic year 2021.
The closing date for the online scholarship application is April 15, 2021
Assmang Khumani Mine is inviting students from the Northern Cape province to apply for its scholarship program. The Khumani Mine Grant is intended to promote further education and skill development; The scholarship will cover undergraduate degrees, in ANY field of study.
The scholarship will cover the following expenses: registration fees, tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, meals, photocopies, and a stipend (of an amount to be determined by Assmang Management). The value of the scholarship is reviewed each year and adjusted when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria before applying (note that if you do not meet all the requirements, your application will not be considered):
Must be a South African citizen
Must be from Northern Cape Province
Must have completed Matric
Must be studying or registered to study towards a full-time undergraduate degree
You must be studying or registered to study at a recognized tertiary institute in South Africa
Students with disabilities can apply
Preference will be given to African and black students (male and female)
Preference will be given to students from these areas: Boichoko, Deben, Dibeng, Kathu, Kuruman, Olifantshoek, Postdene and Postmasburg

South African identity document (certified copy)
Registration certificate (certified copy)
Proof of admission / tertiary registration (on letterhead)
Transcript of the latest academic results, if you are currently at the tertiary level (certified copy)
Curriculum vitae
Proof of residence (copy of municipal account)
Medical certificate confirming the type of disability (if disabled)
