REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCES
Grade 12 with math or accounting as a passed subject.
Candidates must possess effective verbal and written communication skills; More experience in asset management will be an added bonus. The successful candidate must be punctual, attentive, self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Only candidates with Accounting or Mathematics will be considered.
The holder must have computer skills.
A valid driver’s license is an essential requirement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Verification of physical assets in all municipal offices and service centers; Assess the condition of the assets to determine if there is a need for impairment. Identify and move all redundant and damaged assets from different service centers to a storage location. Update and distribute new inventory lists for physically verified offices and ensure all asset custodians sign these inventory lists. Advising asset custodians on the asset management process and its implications.
SALARY SCALE
R6200.00 per month.
