GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
The principal responsibilities of the Administrator will include (but are not limited to):
Stock order and delivery check with the order placed.
Sort coffins, control and maintain
adequate stock levels and starting the weekly stock count
Make sure all funeral requirements are available and operational.
Checking the use and maintenance of other assets, including drop devices, public address systems, computer equipment, televisions, etc.
Checking the use and maintenance of motor vehicles, including fuel consumption, monitoring system.
Make sure drivers use the vehicle’s labels and log books and checklist on a daily basis.
Give final approval for all funeral services to take place at any time.
Prepare monthly expenses for: vehicle expenses, cleaning materials, funeral equipment repairs, fuel expenses, caskets.
Weekly funeral necessities expenses
Explain the goals, policies, or procedures to staff members.
Preparation of staff schedules or assignments
Any other function requested by the Management.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
2 years of experience in administration
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Great attention to detail
Coordination and administration skills
Ability to work in a busy environment
Transportation will not be provided, preferably residing in or around Willowvale. Start date August 9, 2021.
