The Tshwane Institute of Technology (TIT), in collaboration with the South African Institute of Management (SAIM) are driving and implementing the Employment Tax Incentive Programme (ETI), an initiative that was launched by government.
The purpose of ETI is to enable companies to sponsor and provide funding for unemployed young people so that they can improve their qualifications and thereby become more employable.
So, ETI is an agreement between a company and a qualifying student. The company pays the cost of enrolment for a subject/module/course, the textbook and examination fee.
