REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Driver’s license Code 14 and Code 11.
Valid PDP
Medically fit
Five years of experience in articulated driving Defensive driving
Driving the Eaton Fuller gearbox and the ZF gearbox Role and location of vehicle components
Road traffic law (i.e. operating a vehicle) Driver actions regarding weather / road / traffic conditions
Emergency and defect notification procedure
Vehicle inspections and operation of a fire extinguisher.
Maximization of profitability and vehicle efficiency
Vehicle loading techniques
Own reliable transportation
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare the vehicle for the trip and operate heavy vehicles
Manage the required documentation and perform auxiliary tasks
All other reasonable instructions from the supervisor
Ready to work shifts, weekends and holidays
Safe driving record and clean criminal record Work with refrigerated / temperature controlled trucks.
