MAINTENANCE SITE MANAGER

Our client is an Engineering Company do work for the Mines and they looking for Maintenance Site Manager for one of there Mining Plants
Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and grow a Maintenance department for the Mining Site to meet the needs for effective maintenance planning, execution and optimization of equipment availability and reliability.
Effective asset management programs; accurate data capturing, breakdowns analysis and recommendation of solutions.
Sound inventory control, labour and material resourcing, shutdowns planning, coordination and execution.
Budget formulation and forecasting.
Ensuring optimal performance of plant and equipment reliability.
Developing, reviewing and updating maintenance schedules and plans
Successful implementation of plant preventive maintenance programs and shutdowns planning.
Identifying specific hazards that will be encountered in the performance of proposed work.
Inspection of all jobs and work done by the team
Inspection of equipment
Generation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Job Qualification & Experience:
A performance-driven professional with extensive experience in engineering systems, projects and maintenance programs.
Tertiary education (Mechanical or Electrical) Millwright or certified applicable trade qualification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory capacity.
Proven ability to deliver results.
A high level understanding of all relevant legislation affecting the employment and safety of persons in the mining industry.
Experience in managing costs and budgeting.
Demonstrated application of continuous improvement ideas and to motivate, lead and mentor teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
Good knowledge of all disciplines in maintenance.
Can construct maintenance programs and systems that are the best method now and sustainable into the future.
